Economics is a Funny Discipline. 5 Months ago
Water water every where water but NOT a drop to drink, reads a Cloeridge poem.
That I gues is how every body feels about the leaping and bouncing of the EPRDF economic tiger.
I heard today another Ph.D. on TV. one who looks like straight from the 70's hippie movie hits.
He told us so long as we carried our money in our pocket and our merchandise in a plastic bag every thing is just fine.
That we are being told is the water tight unfailing economic indicator which beats every other parameter.Economics is indeed a funny discipline.

Economics is a Funny Discipline, so is Statistics; and we all know how greatly the former depends on the latter. It is so easy to come up with an experimental set up that eventually brings about one of those agenda-driven inferences and figures. History has shown how Statistics is used for Political missions and passing new bills.
They knew it well nobody falls for their fallacies that appeal to ignorance and emotion.

What keeps me on tinterhooks is some thing these so called scholars whin about day in and out.
I mean get some thing as an issue _frame_ your stand and call in the jerks to sugar coat it and they make a terrible appearance on TV.and try to convince a starving nation that it is having a feast which its forefather hasn't seen in millenia.
They even go further than that. They have the audacity to draw parallel with the GD of 1929 through 1933, some thing which no sane politician let alone an economist would do.
