Abyssinians for the Independence of Oromia? 2 Months, 2 Weeks ago
Some times it jolts me right out of my seat, really.Think about it, the EPRDF came to power on the promise that it is gonna chastise a certain named group of people in Ethiopian.
And it proudly delivered on its promise.
It humbled an otherwise proud nation for crimes committed by all who had the means in the distance past.
Such thing is possible only in Ethiopia.A faction aspiring for government seat vowing to humble an entire nation, 'cos probably its forefather had committed some crime about which no one can be certain.
The result?Travel in the State of Oromia and try to speak a non- native tongue you are sure to come across a hostilty bordering on hatred. It would make you want to declare it an independent state.
That is the first thing that hits you and leaves you speechless.
You wouldn't feel so out of place and unwelcome if yoiu were in Iceland.
I noticed some 'strange' sounding visitors constantly wear a stupid smile, a smile that beggs forgiveness a s heart breaking sad smile that speaks a tome.
It says I don't know what I have done to you but Ican see you hate me like a sin.
Let them go, is the idea that's occurred to me.Nothing worse than this is gonna happen.
We,too, can kiss and say our goodbyes and save the hatred.
It feels so spooky when some one singles you out to dish out some gruesome choice words of insult for some thing you have no clue about.

Today I read some thing sensible about the so called Oromo Question in a private local paper.
The thing that gets on your nerves is that they, peasant and scholar like, keep saying they are rich and fertile.
You would think they have patented the land they share with the rest of us and that it isn't God's dominion.
It really freaks you out cold dead.
The other thing that almost makes me laugh every time I hear it is, they assume they have exclusive propertiorship over their language cultrue and way of life. That too we share.
That isn't some thing you own for Christ's sake, it only showed them up as narrow minded archaical race.
They aren't even grateful to the one race that has brought 'freedom' to their door steps on silver plate.
Where were they when all the so called genocide was unleahed on them?
