I have to write this post because this issue has once reached me. I was asked by a client whether I'm a protestant or not to receive a job from him. So I disqualified. For me that was not a problem since at that time I thought it was just a poor thinking from one individual.
But now the problem appears on the larger scale. This is mostly seen in Private Hospitals where most of them are owned or run by individuals from the protestant religion. This happens to a friend of mine who is a nurse. Even though she is qualified, she has been rejected on three medical institutions just because she was not a protestant. Currently she joined the last vacancy telling not the truth, she has no hope.
I don't want to mention the name of these institutions, but things are getting worse. I don't know the case with other religion, but it might happen.
Now I'm questioning my self, what shall I do in the future when I run my own company. Do I have to be selective also? And what is the advantage?? Please say something.
