OPDO, a Dream's Work Production? 3 Months ago
I am one of the few fans of Memire Desta, the Mahtema.
He had published a candid book about nation and nationalities and the sad fate of the people of Tigray TO DELIVER THEM FROM BONDAGE.
The other day he was telling us,
"We the people of Tigray single handedly delivered the bulk of this nation of nationalities from the fatal grip of the Derge."
He went back on and repeated those words in case we might infere it was a slip of tongue or some thing.
I sat there amused and delighted.Just then the Nation was induced to commemorate OPDO's fallen heroes in a _style_ we haven't seen to date.
We almost wetted our eyes, 'cos they sounded so earnest.
I mean the Oromos if any thing made up three quarters of Derge's army and perished like flies at the hands of TPLF.
