What is going on Lena? What is the rationale here? You must have been at the pinnacle of your frustration when you wrote that. It definitely clouded your judgement and might have affected your long standing sentiment about Ethiopians.
Good that you vented it. But I am sure by now as a well read person, you are in remorse for that hasty, shallow characterization and profiling of Ethiopians.
All you have been arguing with were personal instances that we all have to put up with if we need to coexist with any human, irrespective of their race, location, religion or creed. One circumstance that could have made us peculiar(and hence which should be understandable and a drive for change) is the persistent instability, poverty, unemployment and intolerance between nations and nationalities. And it should also be vivid to you unless oblivious, that in cases where there is fierce competition for jobs, food, housing etc., its natural for a being to start to reflect their animal side. Which by the way makes you the latest addition.
Yes, many guinea pigs that were forced to live in cramped cages with little or no food, in a laboratory, were seen to be violent, cannibalistic and homosexual.
So, the bottom line is we are not any different. We are just like ever other nation if not better! Circumstances are not identities.
